As members of the modern health team , nurses render a significant service in the care of the sick and in the prevention of illness and injury. Increasing number of trained nurses are needed to fill responsible positions as experts in bed-side nursing services and researchers seeking new and better ways of meeting the nursing needs of the patients. Today the rising awareness of society about health and various technological advances forcing the nursing profession to redefine the quality to promote the professional standards and to improve the patient outcomes and satisfaction.
